Required Vendor Documentation
Please note that in addition to payment and a completed application, all vendors at Rose Arts Festival
are required to submit a certificate of insurance in order to finalize their spot. Spaces are limited. We
will review applications on a first come first served basis. Your application does not guarantee your
spot.
Vendor Spaces
All vendor spaces are 10 x 10 corner spots as they will be set up in groups of 4. You are required to
bring your own tent and fixtures (tables, chairs, signage, etc) as these will NOT be provided for you.
We have a limited number of spots that will be able to access electricity.
Electrical Needs
There is limited electricity available for art vendors. There is an additional cost for 110V and you must
provide your own heavy duty cords. If you are bringing a generator you are responsible for providing
your own "quiet" generator providing the appropriate electrical service for your needs. Per the city of
Norwich, any generator cords must be covered and a safety marker must be placed near your generator.
**Note: If you are supplying your own power it cannot exceed 60 decibels when running. Please plan
accordingly in order to avoid disturbing participants and fellow vendors.
Garbage Collection
Garbage cans will be positioned throughout Chelsea Parade and emptied on a regular basis throughout
the day.
Event/Emergency Contact Information
Contact information for event assistance and emergencies will be provided in your vendor check-
in packet on the day of the event.
Day of Event Vendor Check-In
Washington Street at Chelsea Parade, Norwich, CT
Vendor check-in will be located on Washington Street. Event check-in will open at 8:00 AM and continue
until 10:15 AM. There will be designated unloading zones on Washington Street along the green.
Volunteers will be present to direct you to pull into an unloading zone alongside the curb. Here you will
be checked in, given your location and be assisted in unloading your vehicle. Once your vehicle is
unloaded, we have designated parking for vendors in the NFA North Lot, or you are welcome to utilize
approved street parking on the surrounding roads. Do not park in a designated non-parking area. You
will then direct yourself to your marked vendor spot and begin to set up. Your spot must be set up in
time for the festival kick off at 11:00 AM.
Event End/Loading
The headline band will begin at 7:00 PM. We encourage you to stay throughout the duration of the
festival, but you cannot begin packing up before 7:00 PM. Please be sure to clean up after yourself using
the available trash cans. We cannot guarantee there will be volunteers available to assist you, so please
plan accordingly. You will be able to load your vehicle back up in the same area along Washington Street
where you unloaded it. Please note that Broadway will remain closed for traffic until after all the food
vendors have been removed from the area, so again please plan accordingly.
bathrooms
There are public portapotties available in two locations on Chelsea Parade for all vendors and
attendees to use.
unloading
For your safety, there will only be room for ONE car per unloading zone. Your vehicle must be attended at all times. You will NOT be permitted to leave your car while in the unloading zone on Washington Street. You will receive a printable placard to put in your windshield that can be visible to volunteers when you are approaching the unloading zones and designated parking area. We recommend bringing carts or anything you may have to make unloading and moving your wares to your vending location easier for you. When available, volunteers will help bring your items from the curb to your spot so that you can pull away from Washington Street and park. We recommend keeping things like wallets, purses, cell phones etc. on your person. We cannot guarantee assistance in moving your items from the curb to your spot so please plan accordingly.
